The Rudy Scholz Award for the top men's college rugby player in the country, and the MA Sorensen Award for the top women's college rugby player in the country, have been named.

Indiana's Bryce Campbell is the Scholz Award-Winner, and Quinnipiac's Ilona Maher is the Sorensen Award-Winner. A center for the Bobcats, Maher led Quinnipiac to the 2016 NIRA title. A center for Indiana, Campbell led his team to a Big Ten title, and the DIA Quarterfinals, and also was capped five times for the USA, helping the Eagles win the Americas Rugby Championship.
