The High School All-Americans defeated Rugby Ontario U19s 26-5 on Thursday evening at the University of Guelph.

The USA team started strong and showed a solid defense, especially in the second half, as Ontario made some adjustments and looked to come back. The tourists scored early to lead 5-0, but Ontario's Owain Ruttan equalized shortly thereafter. That was, however, Ontario's final points of the day.

Flanker Cameron Tompkins out of Sumner in Tennessee, wing Ryan James (Cathedral Catholic, San Diego), prop Trent Rogers out of Walnut Hills in Ohio, and Gonzaga HS (DC) center Ian Kilcullen all scored tries for the HS All-Americans.

Flyhalf Patrick Madden (University City, CA) kicked three conversions.
