Scottish side the Glasgow Warriors will host Welsh United Rugby Championship rivals the Scarlets at Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli, Wales, at 12.30 pm EST.

Aiming to become the first Scottish side to feature in a European competition final, Franco Smith’s Warriors side finished second behind fellow semi-finalists Toulon in Pool A.

The Scarlets, on the other hand, topped Pool B, winning all four of their pool games before defeating French powerhouse Clermont by two points in their quarterfinal clash. 

Scarlets head coach Dwayne made the bold call to leave experienced fullback Leigh Halfpenny out of his squad for the clash opting instead for Johnny McNicholl in the last line of defence. 

The winner of today’s match will face either French Top 14 side Toulon or fellow URC participants Benetton in the final to be played in Dublin on Friday, May 19^th.
