London knows how to draw a big rugby crowd and that's likely not to change in 2024. 

For the first time ever Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London will host the EPCR Challenge Cup Final and the Investec Champions Cup Final. The sprawling stadium that opened in 2019 and is the home to English Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur in North London has quite the set of debut matches. 

After hosting Gloucester Rugby and the HollywoodBets Sharks at 3 p.m. EST on May 24, a game that is streaming in the United States on FloRugby and the FloSport app, the venue will host the Investec Champions Cup on May 25.

That matchup features two of the world's top professional rugby clubs: Leinster Rugby of the United Rugby Championship and Stade Toulousain, or Toulouse Rugby, of the Top 14. 

That match is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. EST and is streaming in the U.S. on FloRugby and the FloSport app.

It's the first time London has played host to the EPCR's biggest weekend since 2021 when Twickenham hosted the final. Twickenham hosted the final six times, the first in 2000 and so far is the only London stadium to do so. 

What's The Champions Cup Rugby Attendance Record?

In 2012, Twickenham saw 81,774 fans, the most ever for a Champions Cup Final, pack the stadium as Irish Rugby Union members Ulster and Leinster met in the final. 

The second biggest crowd was also at Twickenham in 2007 when the London Wasps beat the Leicester Tigers for the championship. 

What's The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Attendance Record?

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has a reported capacity of almost 63,000 (62,850). So It won't match the massive crowds at Twickenham. 

But of all the years London has hosted the final, without counting the COVID-19 restricted 2021 final, the London crowd has surpassed 58,000 fans. Four times has the city seen a crowd of 68,000 or more. 

The largest crowd to see a game Tottenham was the Arsenal-Hotspur match on May 12, 2022, followed by an NFL game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Buffalo Bills. Those crowds were 62,027 and 61,273. 

Where Is the Investec Champions Cup Final, EPCR Challenge Cup Final in 2025?

Cardiff, Wales takes over hosting duties for the EPCR's biggest weekend in 2025. Principality Stadium will host the two finals on a date yet to be announced. It'll be the first time since 2014 that Wales's capital has hosted the finals. 

Cardiff has hosted the Champions Cup Final seven times and in the five times Principality Stadium has hosted the attendance has been above 68,000 fans.
