The 2024 Investec Champions Cup wrapped with an epic final between two of the best clubs in the tournament's history slugging it out at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on May 25. 

Toulouse extended its record to six Champions Cup titles, establishing itself as the best club, at least in Europe and possibly the world, in professional rugby. 

The celebration was grand. The fireworks went off. Parties will be had. 

But now the question is: What about next year?

Perhaps it's too early to look at next season's field, after all things can change in the next three weeks.

But we ponder, after the epic 2024 final, is it ever too early to look ahead at the next Champions Cup, which will have its final in Cardiff, Wales?

No. It isn't. If the three European leagues ended on May 25, and one has already, here are the 24 teams that would compete for the Investec Champions Cup title.

How To Qualify For The Champions Cup

The rules changed in 2024 to include the top eight teams from each league regardless of the performance in their respective shield. 

Those that don't qualify will be eligible for the EPCR Challenge Cup.

With one week remaining in the URC season, here are top eight teams in the table.

• Leinster Rugby
• Glasgow Warriors

• Ulster Rugby
• Edinburgh Rugby
• Benetton Rugby

The last two spots are the two most likely to change in the final week. Emirates Lions have the same amount of points, 49, as Benetton and Edinburgh. Connacht and Ospreys are just four points behind at 45.

With two weeks remaining in the Top 14 season, here are top eight teams in the table.

Where Is the Investec Champions Cup Final, EPCR Challenge Cup Final in 2025?

Cardiff, Wales takes over hosting duties for the EPCR's biggest weekend in 2025. Principality Stadium will host the two finals on a date yet to be announced. It'll be the first time since 2014 that Wales's capital has hosted the finals. 

Cardiff has hosted the Champions Cup Final seven times and in the five times Principality Stadium has hosted the attendance has been above 68,000 fans.
