Despite taking the No. 1 seed in the URC playoffs, Munster didn't finish too far ahead of Glasgow in the final table. The Irish club had the same amount of wins (13) as the Scottish side, and only eked out the top spot due to a single draw, whereas Glasgow had an extra loss.
