Union Bordeaux Begles will take part in the first Top 14 grand final in club history when it takes on rugby heavyweight Stade Toulousain at Orange Velodrome on June 29. 

UBB will play the underdog, where Toulouse is far and away one of the most successful rugby clubs in the world. The red and blacks have the Champions Cup six times and the Top 14 championship 22 times, most recently in 2023.

The defending Top 14 champions are fresh off another Champions Cup win and, oh yeah, they also have Antoine DuPont, who is, pound-for-pound, one of the best rugby players in the world.

It'll be a tall task for Bordeaux, but L'Union had a banner season, ranking third in match points scored and fifth in match points allowed during the 26-round season. Last week, UBB beat 14-time Top 14 champion Stade Francais, 22-20.

In its semifinal matchup, Toulouse defeated last year's runner-up and Champions Cup winner, La Rochelle, 39-23.
