France rugby began its summer internationals season with a thumping of Argentina in Mendoza, defeating Los Pumas 28-13. 

Les Bleus picked a considerably younger squad for the summer tests - Oscar Jegou (21) from La Rochelle, Jordan Joseph (23) from Racing 92, and Hugo Auradou (20) from Section Paloise all were named starters. 

Theo Attissogbe, a 19-year-old fullback, also scored for the French team.

After the first Argentina test, France has a midweek match against Uruguay on July 10 in Montevideo, Argentina. It will take place at Estadio Charrua. France then will swing back to Buenos Aires for the second match against Argentina.
