The world stops when the two rugby powers of South Africa and New Zealand come together for battle.

In a rematch of last year's Rugby World Cup final, a low-scoring affair, the Springboks and All Blacks will meet at Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg on Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. Eastern.

This will be the first of two consecutive matches in (Round 3 and Round 4) of The Rugby Championship and likely will decide this year's title. Outside of the South Africa-Ireland epic in July, these are the biggest matches thus far in 2024.

Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus made nine changes to the lineup for the first match, including bringing back Jasper Wiese. Eben Etzebeth, who was expected to be out with an injury, is expected to play as well.

The All Blacks, known for their formidable presence, undoubtedly will challenge the Springboks' determination.

Don't miss this highly anticipated clash between two rugby powerhouses, filled with intensity and passion.

Wunderkind Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu also will continue his run at No. 10, while Handre Pollard will start the match as a substitute for the Springboks.

While the All Blacks have yet to release their lineup, it likely will feature much of the squad from that obliterated Los Pumas 41-10 in Round 2.

New Zealand All Blacks Haka

The haka, performed by the New Zealand All Blacks before their rugby matches, is a traditional Maori dance that includes spirited movements and rhythmic foot stamping along with chants.

This display is meant to challenge opponents, showcase team pride and solidarity, and honor the sport and the opposing team. It stands out as a deeply rooted cultural tradition in rugby.
