Australia and Argentina will try to get back on the horse after both teams were defeated in Round 2 of The Rugby Championship.

Los Pumas, who have the shock win of the tournament after defeating New Zealand in Round 1, dropped the second game against the All Blacks in a striking 42-10 loss.

Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt is 3-2 in his young tenure as the Aussie boss, but he has lost the last two matches. Both were against South Africa, and neither was quite up to snuff in terms of competition. 

Schmidt will turn his attention to Argentina, where the Wallabies will be hosted by Los Pumas at Estadio Jorge Luis Hirschi in La Plata, Argentina.

If the Wallabies can grab two wins against a strong Argentina squad before their run-in with bitter rival New Zealand, that will be viewed as quite a win.

Argentina will be a tough out, though. 

After Los Pumas snagged the win against the All Blacks, they're sitting in third place in The Rugby Championship standings with four points. 

Neither team has released their lineups for the first bout, but we can expect some changes after lackluster outings.
