In the last match, held under the rainy skies of La Plata, Australia secured 20-19 victory at the death, thanks to a penalty by substitute fly-half Ben Donaldson. 

The Wallabies, who had struggled before the game, over came elements and a spirited Argentine side. In spite of a strong start to the game by Los Pumas, including a Santiago Carreras penalty and a Juan Martin Gonzalez try, Australia fought back with tries from Jake Gordon and Rob Valetini..

The stakes are high in Santa Fe as Argentina will look to rebound and avoid the wooden spoon.
