Racing 92 Rugby features a talented roster that already included South Africa Rugby star Siya Kolisi and French national star Gael Fickou and it got even better this offseason. 

Racing 92, a club out of Paris, welcomes English rugby star Owen Farrell to the club this season. 

The famed English rugby star and son of Irish Rugby coach Andy Farrell joins Racing 92 after a 16-year career with Saracens in the English Premier League. The 32-year-old helped Saracens with the 2023 Gallagher Cup and now is the second big addition to Racing 92 in as many years. Kolisi joined the club after the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Racing 92 finished 13-0-13 in Top 14 play last season and also played in the Investec Champions Cup. The club advanced out of the pool stage, but lost to eventual Champions Cup winner Toulouse in the Round of 16, 31-7. 

But that was last year and Racing 92 looks to advance further in both the Top 14 and Champions Cup playoffs. Those roads begin on Sept. 7 at 10:30 a.m. ET against Castres as Racing 92 begins the Top 14 season.
