Lyon OU Rugby, founded in 1896, finished 12-0-14 in the Top 14 last season and will represent the league in the 2024-2025 EPCR Challenge Cup, which is a tournament the club won in 2022. 

Lyon Rugby is seeking its first Top 14 championships since 1933 and that quest begins at 10:30 a.m. against Montpellier on Sept. 7.

Lyon’s Challenge Cup competition begins on Dec. 7 as they start in Pool 1. Last year, Lyon played for the Investec Champions Cup and even advanced out of pool play before being eliminated by the Vodacom Bulls, 59-19, in the Round of 16.
