Aviron Bayonnais, or Bayonne Rugby, was founded in 1906 and avoided facing relegation by eight points after finishing the Top 14 season with a 11-0-15 record. 

Bayonne will look to be no where near relegation after the 2024-2025 season which starts on Sept. 7 at 8:30 a.m. ET against USA Perpignan.

The club will also play in the EPCR Challenge Cup for the second year in a row after advancing out of pool play last season and losing to Edinburgh 33-15 in the Round of 16. Bayonne will start the Challenge Cup in Pool 3 in December.
