Union Bordeaux Bègles have never won a Top 14 final, but they're currently toe-to-toe with La Rochelle at the top of the French league table. 

Bordeaux, only months removed from being obliterated by Toulouse in the grand final last season, are as good, if not better than they were during last season's campaign, when they finished third in the table. Bordeaux will take on Perpignan this week, while La Rochelle plays Bayonne.
