Farrell's squad features two potential debutants, with uncapped Leinster players Thomas Clarkson and Sam Prendergast included on the replacements bench.
Cian Healy also is set for a historic appearance, as he stands to earn his 133rd cap, tying Brian O’Driscoll’s record for the most caps in Ireland’s history.
The starting back three remains unchanged, with Hugo Keenan, James Lowe and Mack Hansen taking their usual positions. In midfield, Robbie Henshaw, making his 75th appearance, partners with Garry Ringrose, while Jamison Gibson-Park and Jack Crowley continue as the halfback duo.
In the forwards, the starting front row of Andrew Porter, Rónan Kelleher and Finlay Bealham is unchanged.
Joe McCarthy and James Ryan hold their places in the second row, while Tadhg Beirne, Josh van der Flier, and captain Caelan Doris complete the forward pack.
Healy, who debuted for Ireland against Australia in November 2009, will look to achieve his milestone appearance from the bench. He joins Rob Herring, debut-seeking Clarkson, Ryan Baird and Peter O’Mahony as forward replacements available to Farrell.
Clarkson, a former Ireland U20 international, initially joined the November squad as a training panelist and has impressed the coaching team enough to earn this opportunity.
Prendergast, another potential debutant, has been part of both the Summer Tour squad to South Africa and the recent Emerging Ireland Tour.
Completing the roster are backs Craig Casey and Jamie Osborne, ready to contribute in Friday’s encounter with The Pumas in Dublin.
Reflecting on the upcoming game, Farrell commented:
“Training has been intense, and the squad is determined to secure a win in front of a passionate home crowd. Friday promises to be memorable at Aviva Stadium for several reasons.
"For Cian (Healy), reaching O’Driscoll’s record is a momentous achievement, one that means so much to him, his family, and his teammates. Cian is truly a legend of Irish rugby, with a lasting influence both on and off the field. It’s set to be a very special night.”
