USA Rugby, World Rugby and TEG Sport have announced a landmark 2025 home-match series, marking the most expansive slate of international fixtures in the nation's rugby history.

The women are set to prepare for the Rugby World Cup in England later this year, while the men aim to secure qualification for Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia.
The schedule is a pivotal step in World Rugby’s expansion strategy for the United States, designed to increase fan engagement and drive commercial investment.
“The U.S. is a rapidly growing rugby market with strong commercial and hosting interest ahead of the 2031 and 2033 Rugby World Cups,” World Rugby Chair Brett Robinson said. “This test series reflects our ambition to build a sustainable competition calendar that enhances performance, attracts new audiences, and fuels rugby’s growth.”
The action kicks off April 26 in Los Angeles, where the Women’s Eagles face Japan at Wallis Annenberg Stadium in a doubleheader alongside a Major League Rugby match featuring RFCLA and San Diego Legion.
On May 2, the Women’s Eagles will take on Canada at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Men’s Eagles return to the field in July, beginning with two matches at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
They will face the Netherlands on July 5, followed by Spain on July 12.
On July 19, Washington, D.C.'s Audi Field will host a doubleheader featuring the Men’s Eagles against England, and the Women’s Eagles against Fiji.
“This marks a special year for USA Rugby,” USA Rugby CEO Bill Goren said. “We’re thrilled to bring the Men’s and Women’s Eagles to fans coast-to-coast in the largest slate of home matches since 2019. With Rugby World Cup stakes on the line, rugby fans can expect the very best rugby in stadiums this year.”
Tickets for the series will go on sale March 28 at usa.rugby/tickets, with pre-sales beginning March 27.
The 2025 calendar further bolsters the momentum of rugby in the United States, following the recently announced New Zealand vs. Ireland clash at Chicago’s Soldier Field on Nov. 1 and the HSBC SVNS World Championship Final in Los Angeles on May 3-4.
TEG Sports CEO Geoff Jones echoed the excitement, emphasizing the opportunity for fans to witness premier international competition firsthand.
“The American fans have shown they are hungry for more top-quality international rugby, and this slate of games represents exactly that,” Jones said.
The series represents a significant investment in the women’s game, reinforcing World Rugby’s commitment to gender equity. The governing body aims to inspire future generations and expand rugby’s reach by showcasing the Women's Eagles on home soil.
