The Queensland Reds will look to extend their momentum when they face the Highlanders in a Super Rugby Pacific matchup at 11:35 p.m. ET on March 21.

The game will stream live for free on FloRugby's YouTube account as part of the Super Rugby Friday Night Live series.

The Reds had a dominant 31-0 victory over the Highlanders, their biggest win against them, last time the two clubs met.

With the win, the Reds will aim for back-to-back victories against the Highlanders for the first time since May 2014.

The Highlanders have been tough at home, winning five consecutive games against the Reds in New Zealand.

However, the Reds are seeking to break their two-game losing streak in the country.

The Highlanders also have struggled against Australian teams, winning just one of their last six matchups.

Both teams feature standout players, with Highlanders’ Nathan Hastie leading the competition in pick-and-go carries, while the Reds’ Harry Wilson, Fraser McReight, and Ryan Smith have been key defensive forces.

Australia’s Best?

It has been over a decade since the New South Wales Waratahs lifted the Super Rugby Pacific title aloft in 2014, being the last Australian team to date to be the league’s champion.

This year’s Queensland Reds squad might just be the Land Down Under’s biggest threat to end the country’s championship drought since.

Five players scored tries in a massive derby test against the Tahs last weekend, and the Reds passed with flying colors, establishing themselves as the third-place team in the table entering Round 6 and the top Aussie team in the process.

Les Kiss’ men were exceptional in a tense environment in Round 5, but they’ll be a bit short-handed in their trek to Dunedin, as Tate McDermott, Liam Wright and Fraser McReight will be among those not suiting up against the sixth-place Highlanders.

In line with that news, however, Harry Wilson — already having been a captain for the Wallabies earlier in his career — will be Queensland’s captain for the first time this weekend under the iconic roof at Forsyth Barr Stadium, where he’ll try to steer his Reds side to an always-coveted win on New Zealand soil.
