After back-to-back wins, including a massive upset of the Crusaders, the upstart Moana Pasifika, led by one of the best rugby players in the world, Ardie Savea, travel to the defending champion Blues at 12:35 p.m. on April 12 for a massive showdown in Super Rugby action.

The Blues will face Moana Pasifika in a Super Rugby Pacific matchup at Eden Park, streaming live for free on FloRugby's YouTube account as part of the Super Rugby Friday Night Live series. 

The Blues have dominated their previous four encounters with Moana Pasifika, winning by an average margin of 20.8 points, including a 47-8 victory in their most recent clash at Eden Park. However, they’ve struggled to score over 20 points in their last four games at the venue, picking up just one win during that stretch.

Moana Pasifika has shown significant improvement, winning three of their last four matches, including a 45-29 victory over the Crusaders. They’ll aim for their first consecutive wins against New Zealand teams, after scoring 40+ points in three of their last four games. With their strong defensive play, Moana Pasifika is poised for another competitive outing.

Both teams feature key players, including Blues’ Marcel Renata, on a three-game try-scoring streak, and Moana Pasifika’s Patrick Pellegrini, with the highest goal-kicking accuracy this season.
