Born on Jan. 14, 2005, in Banbury, Oxfordshire, Pollock’s rugby journey began at Beachborough Prep and Stowe School.
A product of the Saints Academy since age 13, he honed his skills with Buckingham RFC and captained Northampton’s U18s to the 2023 Academy League final.
Pollock made club history in 2022, becoming the Saints’ youngest professional-era try-scorer.
His Premiership debut came in November 2023 against the Leicester Tigers, followed by a breakout Champions Cup campaign in 2024-2025, which has included a try on debut, a double in the quarterfinals and a clutch score in a dramatic semifinal win over Leinster in Dublin.
His performances earned him a nomination for the 2025 Champions Cup Player of the Year.
Internationally, Pollock captained England U18S and led the U20S to a Six Nations title and World Rugby U20 Championship triumph in 2024, earning Player of the Tournament honors.
A man-of-the-match performance for England A against Australia A in November 2024 fast-tracked his callup to the senior side in early 2025. He marked his test debut with two tries off the bench in a 68-14 rout of Wales in Cardiff.
On May 8, Pollock was named the youngest player in the 2025 British & Irish Lions squad, set to tour Australia this summer.
His rise, driven by fearlessness and raw talent, has earned admiration across the rugby world.
“Pollock has set the standard for being yourself, backing yourself,” said Scotland’s Pierre Schoeman. “He can contribute massively.”
Known for eye-catching celebrations and unmatched confidence, Pollock has become more than just a player — he’s a personality reshaping the sport’s narrative.
As Northampton aims for European glory in Cardiff, Pollock stands ready to deliver once again — this time on the biggest club stage of all.
