Boys Single-School Rankings Latest
The Boys HS Rankings this week have a couple teams moving up and a couple teams dropping down.
The latest Boys Single-School rankings are out and St. Ignatius stays #1 thanks to a victory over St. Edward.
Xavier HS got a boost with an impressive win over #5 Greenwich to move to #4. They were almost caught by Kahuku, which won the Pacific Cup, beating, among others, the Danville Oaks, on the way. But Kahuku did lose a game in that tournament, and maybe that was enough to keep them, for now, behind Xavier.
Also moving up, Westlake out of Austin, Texas, and St. Thomas Aquinas, out of the Kansas City area. And a big move by the Utah teams. On the backs of some nice results from Snow Canyon at the Pacific Cup, and some good, consistent work from Highland HS, those two, plus Herriman, move up nine sports each to 11, 12, and 13.
Tuesday night Fishers almost beat Royal Irish, the #2 HS club, and the Indianapolis team moves up as a result. Previously unranked Fordham and Portland Pumas enter the Top 50 thanks to victories over ranked opponents.
