The Aggies were thinking they might roll over the visiting Longhorns and clinch the Red River South division in College Station. But the Longhorns had other ideas and took an early lead.
After a turnover, A&M finally got those points back when Brown took a pass from Braeden Hood and cut through the Texas line to eat up 30 meters before using his support to set up a try in the corner.

Late in the first half, Brown tapped quickly and sent a long pass to once again set up a try. And then, in the second half, he was on the receiving end, getting an offload from Hood to score himself.

These were three obvious moments in a game in which Brown not only did his job as scrumhalf but also got his team in a better position or rescued a bad one—that was important since the A&M scrum was under pressure all day.
