The New York 7s has opened registration for the 2018 tournament.

The largest single-day rugby tournament in the Americas, the NY 7s is a Thanksgiving tradition, bringing teams from all over the world, but especially from the USA and Canada, to play at Randall's Island in the East River. This year's event will be Saturday, November 24, and will be streamed LIVE on FloRugby.

Brackets include Elite, Open, and Social men, Elite, Open, and Social women, College, and high school. Men and women are represented throughout.

It's classic New York City rugby - a little harsh when it comes to the weather, and not for dilettantes, but a perfect way to shake off late fall and indulge in the game itself. Every year a new team puts its hand up, whether it be Equipe Quebec, or Lindenwood University's women's team, or the relatively new Bulldog program.

Registrations before September 1 get a discount. Also for this year's event, Premier Division entrants get 25% off. Teams traveling from outside North America get $100 off the entry fee, and in fact the team that travels the farthest will have its entry fee refunded.
