“It was completely different,” Hayden-Stringer told Saracens News. “Out there it was so relaxed, but I was able to mature as a person. You have to work for everything and sometimes we underestimate how much we’re actually given at this club and we take it for granted."
He said playing in Australia helped him mature as a player and as a person, and it also got him some crucial game time as a prop, game time he will put to good use this weekend.

“We come in week-in, week-out trying to push ourselves as we know there will be opportunities throughout the season,” Hayden-Stringer said of the Premiership Cup and Premiership Sheidl competitions he is playing in. “It’s about us being ready as a non-playing squad when that opportunity comes and the boys are chomping at the bit and raring to go."
Meanwhile, this is not just an opportunity for players. Leicester coach Ant Allen has moved up to lead the Premiership Cup team for Leicester after Brett Deacon took on the Tigers' head coaching role.
"Geordie has asked me to take on the attack and backs, so I'm stepping up a little bit more," Allen told LTV. "I've got a lot of lads I have already coached through the Academy and Development Squad. For my part, I get to work with the first team under a little bit more pressure."
