DUBLIN, IRE. - USA Head Coach Gary Gold has named his match-day 23 to face No. 2 Ireland in the final weekend of the Autumn Internationals 2018 this Saturday in Dublin.

Gold has made three changes. Scrumhalf Shaun Davies is back to match fitness after going through head injury assessment protocol following a nasty tip tackle during the November 3 match with the Maori All Blacks. Davies gets the start at scrumhalf and Ruben de Haas, who started in the last two matches, is on the bench.

With Tony Lamborn out with a dislocated ankle, Hanco Germishuys gets the start at flanker. And Ryan Matyas moves to the bench with Marcel Brache sliding over to wing in favor of Will Hooley at fullback. Hooley, who kicked the game-winning penalty against Samoa, was a late scratch against Romania due to a groin issue.

Samu Manoa joins the squad and will be a welcome addition on the bench. Chnce Wenglewski is on the bench and could earn his first test cap if he runs on. Wenglewski played for the Eagles against the Maori All Balcks, but that was a non-cap game.

"We know this weekend will present our greatest challenge yet with the Ireland side still buzzing from their historic victory over the All Blacks," said Head Coach Gary Gold. "Ireland will be relentless as ever this weekend and our guys have spent the last week ensuring that they approach Saturday's game with the level of intensity that will put us in the best position to meet the fight."

Meanwhile, Ireland has named a relatively inexperienced team to face the Eagles. About half of the lineup played Italy in Chicago on November 3. Rhys Ruddock, who captained Ireland in that 52-7 defeat of the Azzurri, will lead the squad against the USA.
