Manoa has been one of the most imposing American rugby players over the past ten years. He was a huge start at Northampton and then at Toulon, although his stint in France was hampered by injury.
This winter, after signing with Cardiff, Manoa asked for an received a release from his contract to spend more time with his family.
He then basically took a break from rugby for about six months, but he's now back on the field, and that's good news for rugby fans everywhere.
Manoa has won championships in the old Super League and the English Premiership, and captained the USA in the 2015 Rugby World Cup in the game against South Africa.
Manoa has been capped 22 times for the USA, but has not suited up for the Eagles since November 24.
