Derek Summers is no stranger to getting hit on the rugby field. As a former Northeastern State rugger, Summers once again found himself on the receiving end of a tackle, albeit accidentally, while officiating the Glendale Raptors' 45-13 road win over the Austin Huns in the Major Rugby Championship on Saturday.

In a busy day for rugby in Texas' state capitol, the Austin Huns not only captured their third win in the Major Rugby Competition with a hard-fought 48-22 victory over Utah Select XV on Saturday but also remained undefeated at home this season.
The Austin Huns are set to host some of Utah's top rugby talent in a Major Rugby Championship matchup at Nixon Lane on Saturday, April 1. The Huns, who have lost just twice this year, are looking to continue their winning ways against Utah Select XV after posting back-to-back blowout victories over New Orleans Rugby (91-8) and the Dallas Harlequins (89-5) in March.
