Derek Summers is no stranger to getting hit on the rugby field. As a former Northeastern State rugger, Summers once again found himself on the receiving end of a tackle, albeit accidentally, while officiating the Glendale Raptors' 45-13 road win over the Austin Huns in the Major Rugby Championship on Saturday.

In their second match-up of the year, the Austin Huns and Glendale Raptors face off, this time on the Huns' home turf. The last meeting saw a decisive victory for the Raptors. Since then the Huns have added a few players and honed their skills to come together as a team. Expect a fast-pace match with plenty of scoring. Both sides have players off of the USA Rugby roster that knows each other well. The key for the Huns to win is to not give up penalties or turnover the ball and for the Raptors, get the ball out quickly and break the Huns' line of defense.
