In the eastern bracket if you lined up all the teams side-by-side you would have to say that Raleigh would’ve been the favorite. Look at their size, and look at their 13 Shawn Gatewood. Then Raleigh went out and put an 89-0 thumping on Detroit, ouch. Gatewood could not be tackled and ran in five tries.

This weekend southern teams head north to claim trophies. Atlanta Old White and Life have an opportunity to change the reputation of rugby in the south. In France, Montpellier heads north to face Lyon in the Top14 Playoffs. The Ohio high school state championship matches will kickoff all the action this weekend at the Fortress Obetz.

One team cruises into this year's Men's D2 club final after scoring 49 points in the second half, and the other needed a final-play try to book its ticket, but they're both here now.
The Austin Blacks had aspirations to win three national championships this coming weekend, and the dream is still alive for two of their teams.
Sacramento and Harrisburg will face off for the Women's D2 Club Championship this weekend, and while these teams are somewhat different, they both will bring the fire, and the hit.
In the Men’s D1 bracket only four teams advanced to the Regional Club Playoffs. In the East the Chicago Lions bussed down south to take on the Running Eagles from Life. While out West the Austin Blacks hosted the PRP champions, Life West.

The Rugby Ohio HS Championship games will be LIVE on FloRugby as part of FloRugby's coverage of the USA Rugby Club Finals in Obetz, OH.
Steve Wiley is one of the original landowners of Burr Field, home to the National Championship bound Austin Blacks. Wiley helped clear the land 40+ years ago and today the Austin Blacks have one of the best club grounds and reputation in the country.
The Grand Rapids Gazelles and Austin Blacks will face off this Sunday for the Men's D3 National Club Championship, and the final will be live on FloRugby.

The USA Rugby West Regional Club playoffs finished up in Austin, TX with the worst weather, thankfully, holding off, and five teams advancing to a national final June 1-2.
